In 1996 Fred Spickler began his career as a Geologist and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) developer after receiving a master’s of science degree from Murray State University. For nearly ten years Fred developed and implemented technology and GIS solutions for pipeline operating companies from within a prominent local engineering firm, Photo Science, Inc. While at Photo Science, Fred progressed to team leadership, project management, sales, and eventually business unit management & product development. Since founding Global Information Systems in December of 2006, Fred has been devoted to the role of managing the growing company and serving its Oil & Gas Industry customers. Fred’s 20 years of experience in technology solutions for the rail, waterway navigation, and energy transportation sectors are put to use every day as he focuses on running the business and leading his outstanding team of senior managers and technologists.
